Our hospital is a busy, well established small animal practice located in a small town just outside of Frederick, MD.
We strive to practice the highest standard of medicine with emphasis on wellness care for every life stage.
We provide medical, surgical, and dental services, as well ultrasound and laser therapy to our patients.
We maintain a highly effective level of client communication.
Applicants need to be proficient in both verbal and written communication and be willing to spend the necessary time educating clients about their companion's well-being.
Veterinary Technician duties include but not limited to:
Assisting doctors in exam rooms Assisting in medical procedures Radiology Lab work Administering care and treatment to hospitalized patients Phlebotomy and IV catheter placement Assisting on surgical procedures Assisting on dental procedures Invoicing and medical documentation We are looking for a Veterinary Technician that is energetic, compassionate, enthusiastic, happy, and effective communicator to join our veterinary team.
The owners and current associates are excellent mentors and are willing to help enhance the skills of a newer veterinary professional.
We are interested in a technician who is looking for a practice to form bonds and plant roots.
As a general practice, our hospital does not provide after-hours emergency care.
Frederick has a 24-hour referral and critical care center within 15 minutes of our doors as well as an urgent care facility open until midnight daily.
We have established an excellent working relationship with the doctors and staff at these hospital.
